Taylor Swift is in her football era.
The "Cruel Summer" singer was shown during FOX's broadcast of the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday sitting in a suite next to Donna Kelce, the mother of Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce. Swift was donning a red and white hoodie, cheering on the Chiefs as they prepared for kickoff.
And to cap it all off, the two were spotted leaving together after the game.
Her appearance at Sunday's game swiftly reignited rumors that the pop superstar and Super Bowl champion have been dating for the past few weeks. Swift was previously romantically linked with Joe Alwyn, and earlier this year, the two called it quits. Kelce was previously linked with on-air reporter Kayla Nicole; the two started dating in 2017 and were in an on-again, off-again relationship for five years.
People quickly took to X, formerly Twitter, to react to Swift's appearance at Sunday's football game.
Many reposted the video clip of Swift and "Mama Kelce," including the official social media account for New Heights, a podcast hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother, the Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce.
"Gotta love when Mama Kelce brings her friends to the game," the podcast wrote on X.
NFL reporter Charles Robinson joked on X that Kelce was "about to be covered by the media like he never has been in his entire life."
"TMZ building a shack outside of his house as we speak," he added.
Another NFL reporter, @MySportsUpdate, wrote that "this is really happening," in response to Swift and Kelce's mother watching the football player.
"The duo you never knew you needed Taylor Swift and Donna Kelce," wrote NFL reporter and on-air host Bridget Condon alongside a screenshot of the two.
Travis Kelce addresses Taylor Swift dating rumors
During a Sept. 21 appearance on ESPN's "The Pac McAfee Show," the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 33, discussed the romance rumors between Swift, 33, saying he "threw the ball in her court."
"You know, I told her, 'I've seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead and you might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit,' " Kelce told host Pat McAfee. "So we'll see what happens in the near future."
'Not something I had on my 2023 bingo card': More users on X react to Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce
X user @evanmlapointe wrote, "Nobody has had a cooler 2023 than Momma Kelce. Both sons in a Super Bowl and now she’s sitting next to Taylor Swift? What a life."
Another X user @CTabatabaie wrote that Swift and Kelce's mom being spotted together was "not something I had on my 2023 bingo card."
"Can’t believe Travis Kelce is hard launching Taylor Swift with her sitting next to his mom for the game today," wrote X user @KeeganThomson_.
"what are we doing when Travis Kelce pauses mid game, points to Taylor, and says 'this one is for you, you know who you are. I love you' and then proceeds to make a touchdown?" joked a Swift fan on X.
