Adrien Brody didn’t skim over this social media mix-up.
While showing love for pal Erin Foster’s new show Nobody Wants This, Kim Kardashian accidentally made a small mistake while gushing over the cast.
In a post via her Instagram Story, on Sept. 30, Kim shared a picture of her TV along with a cool shout out to (almost) everyone involved writing, “Okay so I binged 4 episodes until I fell asleep! It’s sooooo good!!! I can’t wait to finish it! Must watch @erinfoster @sarafoster @kristenanniebell @adrienbrody @netflix.”
Kim almost had it right, except for Adam Brody is the lead alongside Kristen Bell in the comedy created by Erin which explores the relationship between a charming Rabbi and an agnostic sex-positive podcaster. Instagram-less Adam did not react to the photo, but Adrien—who does not star in the series—returned the love.
On his Instagram account, Adrien shared a picture of himself alongside the cast of his latest film, The Brutalist, at a screening in New York City on Sept. 28 writing, “I [heart emoji] NY! Thank you to The New York Film Festival and congratulations to the producers, cast and crew for the incredible screening of THE BRUTALIST.”
Returning the accidental love Kim sent his way, Adrien gave a special shout out to the SKIMs founder alongside the film’s distributor, adding, “many thanks to @a24 and @kimkardashian.”
As for Nobody Wants This, the Netflix series is loosely inspired by creator Erin— the daughter of David Foster, who married Simon Tikhman after converting to Judaism in 2019.
But that’s not to say Erin, who shares Noah Mimi Tikhman kid with Simon, didn’t have fears about bringing the story to life through fiction.
“I had a lot of anxiety around that, and I intentionally made the characters really different than the people are in real life because I didn't want to get divorced,” she told Today.com. “My husband is, like, really private. Being married to someone like me is his personal hell. Literally today, he was like, ‘Have a great day. Good luck with the interviews. Please don’t talk about me.’”
