Tennessee Titans rookie Will Levis is in the process of learning how to be an NFL quarterback. In the midst of the task, Levis is enjoying an unlimited supply of mayonnaise.
Levis caused a stir (literally) last summer when he was seen on a video mixing mayonnaise in a cup of coffee. No cream, no sugar, just mayonnaise.
The unusual combination started when Levis and his girlfriend went out to breakfast and ordered coffee. When the coffee arrived, Levis noticed there was no cream or sugar on the table. Without the typical ingredients, Levis’ girlfriend playfully suggested he put mayonnaise in his coffee, and he obliged.
"That video went viral, and I raised some eyebrows from that," Levis said to USA TODAY Sports. "From there, mayonnaise has been irreplaceable with me and my brand. Must have caught the eye of the people over at Hellmann’s and it’s turned into this which is pretty cool."

The odd combination transformed into a lifetime contract with Hellmann’s mayonnaise.
Will Levis competing with Malik Willis for Titans backup QB job
Levis is adjusting to life as an NFL quarterback. While Ryan Tannehill is the Titans' starting quarterback, Levis is currently in a competition with second-year pro Malik Willis for the team's backup QB job.
Willis outplayed Levis in Tennessee’s preseason opener, but Titans coaches did see some encouraging things from the Kentucky product.
"You look at his ability to be able to get the ball out when he was playing on time. He had some really good throws for us," Titans offensive coordinator Tim Kelly said to reporters after Levis’ first preseason game. "It’s a good learning situation for him to be able to come back in here, be able to watch it and now get a true understanding as to why we are doing things a certain way."
It's shaping up to be an intriguing battle for the team’s backup QB job.
"I’m looking to better myself and gain trust in my teammates, coaches and everyone in the organization," Levis said. "That I can do this, and I can be this team’s quarterback whenever that time maybe."
